RESPONSIBILITY:
The President provides leadership and strategic direction for the Diaspora Collective. This role involves facilitating board meetings, guiding long-term vision, supporting fundraising and advocacy efforts, and serving as the primary representative of the organization. The President works collaboratively with board members and staff to uphold the mission, ensure accountability, and strengthen the Collective’s impact in the community.

Experience
Dr. Kiley Dunne Lizama (she/her) is a trauma therapist, writer, and co-founder of the Diaspora Collective and Diaspora Therapy Group. With roots in East Africa, Ireland, and the U.S., Kiley’s work bridges clinical care, cultural healing, and social justice. She holds a Doctorate in Social Work and brings over a decade of experience supporting BIPOC and QTPOC communities through culturally grounded, gender-affirming, and trauma-informed therapy.
Through Diaspora Therapy Group, she leads a team of clinicians offering telehealth services across California and Arizona, prioritizing care for first-generation, immigrant, and historically excluded communities. Through the Diaspora Collective, she works to expand access to pro bono mental health services and trains emerging clinicians to serve with nuance, compassion, and critical awareness.
