Our Goal is to help youfind your voice and take up space.
The Diaspora Collective exists to make healing accessible — especially for those who’ve been historically excluded from care. We offer free, culturally grounded mental health and reproductive support that centers survivors, affirms identity, and works to dismantle the systems that cause harm.
Our Treatment Approach
We provide pro bono, trauma-focused care to BIPOC and QTPOC survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, and trafficking. Our therapists specialize in EMDR, somatic therapy, IFS, and sex therapy that centers the whole person — not just the pain. We don’t rush healing. We sit with it, honor it, and move at your pace.
Cultivate Authenticity
We don’t expect you to shrink, perform, or fit into a mold. In our spaces, authenticity is survival. We encourage you to show up as you are — messy, healing, uncertain, whole — and let that be enough.
Strengthen Connections
Healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Our peer support spaces and collaborative sessions are built to nurture connection — to self, to others, to culture. Whether you're rebuilding trust or simply learning to be witnessed, we walk with you.
Reconnect with Your Body
Trauma often disconnects us from the body. We help survivors come home to themselves — slowly, safely, and on their own terms. Through somatic therapy, sex therapy, and body-based practices, we honor your pace, your boundaries, and your right to feel whole.
Embrace Life’s Nuances
We know healing isn’t all gratitude journals and morning routines. It’s complicated, layered, and full of contradictions. We hold space for the messy middle — the grief, the joy, the ambivalence — and honor the truth that healing doesn’t always look like progress.
Healing Through Humor & Joy
We believe in laughter as resistance and joy as survival. Our spaces hold room for dark humor, unexpected giggles, and the lightness that lives alongside pain. Because sometimes, what keeps us going isn’t just resilience — it’s the ability to laugh, even in the aftermath.
